Even worse, it no longer works in a way understandable to ordinary users! They've never seen a SAVE AS dialog and have no idea what a folder is, or how to change the target folder destination, or how to change the file name of the file being saved in that dialog, etc.
Fundamental program behavior that has operated for hundreds of millions of FF users for years in one way suddenly no longer works that way. This change WHICH WAS FORCED ONTO THE FIREFOX UNIVERSE WITHOUT ANYBODY REALIZING IT just because of the latest FF98 update, this is really a BAD DECISION. They've never seen a SAVE AS dialog and don't know what to do. They have no idea what's going on now, except that it is different. They have been trained how to open a browser, how to launch Gmail, and how to do basic things.
They don't even know there are 'settings'. These are ordinary people, not tech heavyweights. I've now had multiple calls from family and friends, all asking for help because they can't open their attachments in Gmail. I've got to say, this is probably the worst arbitrary no-reason-for change I've ever seen.
